● Smartnodes are similar to POS, and get rewards by locking a certain amount of coins in your own wallet. Currently 20-50% of coins will be rewarded to Smartnodes
● If you don't have a VPS, you can set up a virtual node. (But keep an eye out for Discord announcements, we can ban virtual nodes at any time.)

● If you have a spare VPS, you can set up a real node. 1 CPU, 512M memory, and open port 21001. (This step is voluntary, we don't want people spending extra money to buy a VPS)

● As the litoreum network matures Smartnode collateral ramps up and you will need to recreate your Smartnode in order to increase the collateral amount.
